World Tai Chi Qigong Day

When: April 28, 2012 08.30am-11.30am
Where: Legazpi Active Park, Makati, Philippines

This global wave of goodwill provides a vision of hope and healing to a world hungry for such visions. Each year to view the photos of people from different cultures, religions, and every corner of the earth . . . breathing together . . . in this global Tai Chi & Qigong m...ovement . . . is profound.

When you see that look in all these diverse faces, from so many different lands, you can't help but deeply realize that we are indeed "one world . . . and, . . . one breath."
We are all connected by the field of life energy that physicists are now discovering permeates all existence.

By emersing ourselves in the field of life energy again and again, we become more and more grounded in the absolute reality that . . . we are all connected . . . all part of the web of life. And, by cultivating and growing the realization personally and globally, we may help in a subtle quiet way to usher in a more elegant future that nurtures us all in ways we cannot yet even imagine.

Spiritual life coaching for the non-religious

by Randy Dellosa

as  psychotherapist who peeks into the lives of my clients, i am simply awed by the diversity of their spiritual lives. i have an inter-faith practice since i meet clients who are christians, muslims, buddhists, and hindu.
since the turn of the millenium however, i've been meeting people with non-traditional spiritual persuasions- among them, wiccans, atheists, agnostics, gnostics, and even jedi (knight) spiritualists.
what i often hear from my clients is that they would like to nurture their spirituality in their own personal and unique way, not necessarily through organized religion or through traditional religious practices.

as a life coach, i am called to respect each person's spirituality and it is a joy for me to accompany and encourage people in their spiritual journey.

the philippine society of life coaches 2012 reunion ... (life coach, counselor, psychotherapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, quezon city, manila, philippines)

i've facilitated numerous life coach training programs since the late 1990s, but under the philippine society of life coaches (pslc) which was established in 2009, 5 life coach trainings had been done.  it was high time for the different batches of pslc to get acquainted with each other and thus, this mini-reunion was organized.  this mini-reunion also served as preparation for the 1st annual convention of life coaches which will be held in the 3rd quarter of this year.

as the pictures below testify, there was a lot of fun during the event.  linda schaefer also gave a heart-wrenching report on her trip to cagayan de oro, where she represented the pslc in helping calamity victims of typhoon sendong.  the seminar-workshops for 2012 were announced, and finally, the participants of this mini-reunion enlisted themselves in committees for the upcoming annual convention of life coaches.

Pinoy Laughter Yoga For Life Coaches

... paolo trinidad, pinoy laughter yoga, and the philippine society of life coaches ... (life coach, counselor, psychotherapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, quezon city, manila, philippines)

according to paolo trinidad, the philippines' very own laughter yogi, just 10 minutes of pinoy laughter yoga is already equivalent to 30 minutes of strenuous exercise!

this means that pinoy laughter yoga serves as a good cardio-vascular work-out which results in increased stamina, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol levels, lower blood sugar levels, and a stronger immune system.

moreover, paolo says that because laughter massages the internal organs, pinoy laughter yoga results in better digestion.

life coaches often get emotionally drained as they deal with other people's problems all the time.

thank you paolo for reminding us life coaches to take care of ourselves by laughing our depression and stresses away!

Life Coaching for D Goup Leader of Glorious Hope CCF

Sunday, April 8, 2012

... life coach training program at christ's commission fellowship [CCF], glorious hope recovery program ... (life coach, counselor, psychotherapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, quezon city. manila, philippines)

it was a privilege for the philippine society of life coaches (pslc) to do a training program for the leaders of CCF's glorious hope recovery program.  this is a program which aims to help believers in Christ shed off the old self, grow in maturity, and shine God's brightness through service for others.

truthfully, i was very impressed with all the participants- all 40+ of them. bro. butch mossesgeld, the head of glorious hope recovery program, certainly did a great job in training them as discipleship group leaders.  in fact,  all i did was to augment what they were already good at doing.

i am truly confident that God is going to finish the good work which he started in all the participants, as they grow in their personal lives and their lives as coaches.  praise God for how them!
